A luxury car inspired by a yacht
Mulliner is a brand which specialises in modification of the exteriors and interiors of brands such as Bentley or Rolls-Royce and which has been part of Bentley since 1991. It created the unique Bentley Continental GT Convertible Galene edition, which was born in collaboration with the British company Princess Yachts which has specialised in production of motor yachts since the 1960s. The result is a luxury car, the design of which pays tribute to luxury yachts.
Elegant design and hand-crafted details
The Galene edition by Mulliner is defined by brilliant shades of glacial white (Glacier White) and blue (Sequin Blue), which found inspiration in the uncluttered lines and materials of luxury yachts.
The interior is a celebration of manual production, this being evident in the details of the precisely crafted upholstery. This edition is adorned with a hand-painted super yacht on the dashboard, created to order by the Spanish artist Jaume Vilardell. In this edition, Mulliner also introduces Pinstripe Walnut, a new custom wood finish. The elegant design of the whole car thus becomes absolutely unmistakable.
What is hidden under the bonnet?
You won’t find any difference as compared to the original version under the bonnet of this unique car. You will find there a 4.0 litre V8 engine with an output of 373 kW (507 k) at 6,000 min-1 and with torque of 660 Nm at 1700 min-1. This unique cabriolet can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and its top speed is 301 km/h.
The unique collection took its name from the Greek goddess of calm seas – Galene.
