There might be some truth to the well-known saying that behind every successful man stands a supportive and loving partner. And in the case of the Czech hockey team, who so far in all matches at the hockey world championship held in our country, shows their determination and perseverance, it is doubly true. Who are the better halves of our hockey players?
Captain Roman Červenka has support in his wife Veronika
Who else to start with than the current captain of the Czech national team, Roman Červenka. The 38-year-old ice hockey forward and one of the most prominent players of our team got married back in 2015. He married the beautiful model of Russian-Czech origin Veronika Machová. They got together shortly after she won the title of Czech Miss World in 2010. She subsequently represented in the Miss World competition in China, where she, however, did not place among the 25 finalists in the competitive battle for the crown of the most beautiful girl in the world, but she at least competed for the title of Miss Bikini with the other 20 semi-finalists. Before the wedding on December 22, 2012, the famous couple had a son Denis, who, just like his dad, is into sports. However, he is more into dancing and football. Veronika makes a living as a model and fashion designer.
Injured striker Dominik Kubalik is now cheered at home by a daughter

Striker Dominik Kubalik was one during the first match of this year's World Ice Hockey Championship not only happy with the victory over Finland 1:0 in the shootout, but also from the recent birth of his daughter Mia, whom he and his wife Klára welcomed to the world. The only thing that possibly spoilt his joy was the end injury in the next match against Norway, which could threaten his further participation in the matches. Hockey forward Ondřej Palát, at the age of 33, has been married for eight years to his partner Bára Bartíková. Since November 2018, the couple has also become parents of a daughter Adéla. The 30-year-old hockey player has been living with blonde-haired Sára Olivova, who is a promising professional beach volleyball player, for several years. They are taking their happy relationship to the next level - last year, namely in June 2023, Petr proposed to his girlfriend. His fiancée has recently revealed to the media that the wedding date is imminent. It is said to take place this summer. All that remains is to wish the future newlyweds lots of luck in their shared family life.
Defender Michal Kempny met his girlfriend on Instagram
Czech hockey defender Michal Kempny is also happily in a relationship. He met his long-term partner Nicola Minarikova on the social network Instagram. On January 4, 2021, the happy couple welcomed their son Adam into the world. In September 2022, the famous hockey defender then proposed to his girlfriend, who had long worked as a model. The proof that she is his real life support is that she hung up her career and many other life plans for the hockey player, among other things she was willing to move, quit school and change jobs, just so they could be together. Daniel Voženílek has a large family
At only 28 years old, Czech national team hockey forward Daniel Voženílek is successful not only on the ice, but also in his private life. Together with his wife, the blonde Dana, they already have three children. Dana, who is not only a loving mother but also a wife, is known to be a proud husband's and hockey fan. The couple said yes to each other twice, the first time during a smaller wedding with only witnesses on June 25, 2022, and the second time on June 10, 2023, now with family and friends.
