The leading Czech fashion designer Beata Rajská’s fashion show took place at the International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary. This famous designer has confirmed that “(Wo)man proposes, God disposes”. By coincidence she has embark not only on designing clothes and jewellery, but also on shoes.
Thanks to the model Lucie tripping over she started to think about designing shoes. “I’ve always resisted it, but the way people get experience, they also change their minds. I’ve come to understood that shoes are not suitable for my models, so I decided to do something about it,” she said, shortly before the grand show that she had organised for her friends and her clients got under way.
The fashion collection that she designed specifically for the festival was entirely in black, blue and white colours. Likewise, the luxury Italian Bai Bruno shoes, with the owner of which the designer signed an agreement on cooperation, were chosen. “Now I’m sure it’s worthwhile to go into such cooperation. I will design the shoes and they will produce them in Italy, so that the customers can look forward to the expansion of the range of products,” Rajská added with a smile.
She searches all over the world for her luxury materials. During the preparations for the show, she even leaves the fabric to be printed according to her design for three months before it is sewed together. This is because she has a clear idea that has to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. “I’ve always loved fabrics. Sometimes I buy them just because I like them and after a while I then design something with them,” says the designer, who most frequently sews the luxury fabrics in Switzerland. For Fashion for Her is not just a business, but is also about design, so she is well aware that in the case of author collections some models will not be sold.
The unique luxury show that takes place at the Little Versailles Park in Karlovy Vary has almost become a tradition during the festival. None of the Festival’s famous stars will miss this event. Once again the beautiful models’ hair has been cared for at the Franck Provost Luxury Salon. Those who did not have the opportunity to be there can look forward to Vratislavice on the 24th August 2017. Beata Rajská will reveal other unique models from the 2017/2018 collection.
