In La Fabrika you will encounter face-to-face the consequences of common gossip, while Na Zábradlí Theatre will familiarise you in a unique manner with the lives of Voskovec and Werich and in Na Fidlovačce Theatre you can be amused and entertained by generational gaps, which may remind you of some part of your own life.
La Fabrika offers a luxurious and dramatic dance performance entitled Gossip, which was created under the direction of choreographer Lenka Vagnerová. Rumours and gossip are as ancient as humanity itself, and sometimes they can hurt more than does a sharpened blade. The perfect dance performance with acting interludes will provide a great show together with an interesting topic that will not leave you unmoved.
Na Zábradlí Theatre presents a play that is both a moving and luxurious experience. Although the creators of the legendary Liberated Theatre of Jiří Voskovec and Jan Werich had to break up after 1948 their lively correspondence continued to take place. This is what provided the inspiration for the great play that Na Zábradlí Theatre is currently presenting. Jiří Voskovec is played by Václav Vašák and Jan Werich by Jiří Vyorálek. This play takes place in Švandovo Theatre.
This great comedy about the relationship between two generations provides a pleasant and relaxed topic, which is punctuated with subtle humour. It is a play by the contemporary American playwright Joe DiPietro, which in its original version is called “Over the River and Through the Woods” and it was directed for Na Fidlovačce Theatre by Juraj Herz.
