The inexhaustible creative energy of Antonio Marras

His new collection, called Pre-Fall 2017, contains a number of luxurious models and its uniqueness is clear at first glance. High-quality materials with beautiful earthy colors and interesting combinations of patterns definitely strike a luxurious note.

The beautiful coats with embroidery and exceptional dresses have a nearly poetic feel. One simply can’t help but think: where do Antonio Marras’ creativity and incredible creative energy come from? Perhaps it’s because he’s not just a designer, but rather focuses on diverse forms of art, including painting, drawing and sculpting. His work was recently exhibited at the “La Triennale di Milano” design museum.

Inspiration from the book Lady Chatterley’s Lover

Antonio Marras found inspiration for this collection in D. H. Lawrence’s famous book “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”, published in 1958 but banned in Great Britain until the sixties. Back then, it was considered scandalous! Antonio Marras was engulfed by the book’s story of love, created between a woman from an aristocratic background and a working class man.

But since it’s Antonio Marras, he had to add a large dose of “extra creativity”, a cherry on the top of his collection. Imagine the following: he combined the luxurious models with the charm of the movie stars of that period, with strong references to David Lunch’s Twin Peaks and its gloomy atmosphere, and entrust the photography to Antonio’s son Efisio.

The result? A luxurious campaign that you’ll never tire of.

Dolce & Gabbana: Energy

Unlike Versace’s, Dolce & Gabbana’s catwalk swarmed with colours. The bright 2018 SS men’s collection is perfectly suited for a night out in a casino. Luxury prints inspired by playing cards require a lot of self-confidence. Shiny materials only underscore the elegance of their wearer. In D&G’s style, we are in for a very playful summer next year!

Prada: Intellect

As usual, Prada offers luxurious and mature fashion with elements of retro style – for example broad shirt collars and casual coats. Shirts and coats are the main features of the collection which looks like it was cut out from a 1950s movie from the world of famous writers and café thinkers.
