Alenxander Wang and his FW 18/19 Collection, Matrix Style
That black is boring? It certainly is not when served by Wang!
The FW 2018 collection is stylish, interesting, timeless, with a touch of street style in it. It is its very versatility and imagination that we like the most. Wearable fashion is of course the best and that is exactly what Alexander Wang managed to achieve. Thank goodness, for here we have fashion with style suitable for every day. And that the collection is almost all in black in this case does not matter at all.

Under the reign of black, silver details, impeccable cut and luxurious materials
There is perhaps nothing better than a little black dress, which, even if originally just a classic item under the hands of Alexander Wang, having added luxurious embellishments, becomes an extravagant fashion piece with elegant accents. Every woman´s wardrobe contains some LBD and most of us prefer black; especially if the dress is interesting. That is exactly what the fashion brand bet on, having enhanced a simple cocktail dress by silver detailing which lent it that so needed flair and luxurious feel. The silver piping accentuates the feminine silhouette; the asymmetric detailing highlights a narrow waistline and the various zips are simply an ideal luxury accessory.
Black matte or shinier leather, bold pink and black sunglasses
Although Matrix may not be one of your most favourite films, the show was quite a success. Fine black fabric was succeeded by leather materials, again decorated with silver details and we were clear straight away what will be in this autumn and winter: These are feminine pieces which are chic and show stopping! Leather clothing in combination with pink accessories looks fresh, youthful, and sure to brighten up any bleak cold day.
Street fashion which you will want to wear, and constantly at that!
The last part of the show presented luxury ´sport´ pieces in white and grey colour or in black and white combination. Anyone who loves street style, must say that this is a MUST HAVE piece for the autumn! It is indeed so. The sporty short tops, leggings with an inscription, sweatshirts and other items are simply stylish, daring and cool.

Matrix really does exist...
At least that is what it looked like at the Alexander Wang fashion show. OMG how I hate those narrow black sunglasses! Seriously, I don´t know a single person on this planet that could get away with that. Kim Kardashian West too, is attempting go with the times and put this horror on her nose. And although her face is almost perfect, even she did not look good!
Then came the question, or perhaps a mystery: Why on earth do all the models have round zip-up pockets almost everywhere? Is it like a storage space for speakers or cheeseburgers?! And another thing: Why oh why are those large zips on skirts placed so awkwardly? After all, just getting dressed a bit faster one morning and stockings are gone. This was put together by someone without very much of a forethought!
Only one model here really clicked with me here. It is the one with a transparent stitched-through top, white shorts and a beautiful suede jacket. In combination with the wet hairstyle as worn by the model it is a very sexy and at the same time sophisticated ensemble. Although it is not something for a normal working day, it would do very nicely for an early evening drink with your girlfriends at the Municipal House.
