The top designer didn’t shy away from working with celebrities either.
In the last months he collaborated with the daughter of Cindy Crawford Kaia Gerber, with whom he created the young people’s stylish collection Karl Lagerfeld X Kaia. He also created a number of outfits for the singer Madonna or Kylie Minogue.
He didn’t show up at the last Chanel fashion show
A hint to the fact that something might be wrong, could have already been suggested by the fact, that Karl Lagerfeld didn’t show up at the latest fashion show Chanel Haute Couture SS 2019, which took place at the French Grand Palais. The designer was represented by Virginia Viard, who takes charge of event coordination at the ateliers.
The latest fashion shows, where Karl Lagerfeld did appear, were Chanel SS19 and Fendi SS19, which took place in the final months of the year 2018.
