The unique collection was presented by Kean Etro on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the luxury brand.
The luxury collection Etro SS 2018 Menswear was presented on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the unique Italian fashion house. The creative director of menswear section, Kean Etro, introduced his unique collection during the Milan Fashion Week simultaneously with his sister, Veronika Etro, who presented women´s collection. The brother-sister closely cooperated for two months and that is why a number of elements is present in both collections.

SS 2018 is a collection of variety with a touch of multiculturalism
The new collection SS 2018 does not lack elegant pieces in the form of a woollen pullover, polo T-shirt or stylish travel bags. But there was also space devoted to extravagant models full of vibrant colours and striking paisley pattern.
The lifetime love for India of Geralomo Etro became the key element - the collection is strongly inspired by paisley pattern
It is the lifetime love for India of the father of Veronika and Kean Etro, Geralomo Etro, which become key in the creation of the collection. The creative director selected paisley patterns when designing relaxed suits, comfortable shirts, stylish scarves or chic jackets. Apart from some exceptions it is ever-present in respect of the entire luxury collection. As for the question of materials, there is a luxurious damask, brocade, silk, cotton, wool or cashmere.
In the spring reach for a bit of orange or even pink, no colour is inappropriate!
The fashion show began by a wave of luxury clothing, dominated by clean and crisp white. Excellent suits accompanied by metal and shiny embellishments have been gradually replaced by a diverse range of colours - grey, orange, green, khaki, yellow, red, bordeaux, violet, but pink too! As you can see, in the spring all colours are allowed, so show your true colours!

A collection in which you cannot orientate yourself!
Men's fashion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Etro fashion house was in my opinion carried out in the style of "fake Elvis from Las Vegas met in Hong Kong with an Indian maharajah for a bowl of noodles." It is such a great mix of absolutely anything you can think of that it is quite difficult to know what is what.
I could approve of the dark-green suit with a finely-patterned scarf and green cardigan, accompanied by a luxury leather bag. That is because it reminds me of my great-grandpa, a successful veterinarian, on pictures from the 1950s. He was simply a dandy and he looked damn well! So to work and to those heifers in the farmyard, super!
On the other hand, the red dressing gown with blue flowers and Indian sweatpants I consider to be not fashion, but art. No sensible man would put that on in civilised society. And if so, only the turquoise leather tanga pants would be lacking!
