Where did this masterpiece of a drink come from?

The Dutch pharmacist “Dr. Sylvius” is regarded as the originator of gin. His real name was Franciscus de La Boie and he worked as a professor at the University of Leiden. Dr. Sylvius tried to utilise diuretic properties and the well-known juniper berry was ideal for this. The first gin thus saw the light of day and was known as “genever” or also “jenever”. The name was derived from the name for juniper, but it didn’t take long until the name “gin” became established among the general public.

Berkeley Square is a “single-malt” on the world of gin

The unique and luxurious Berkeley Square London Dry Gin has already been manufactured for 250 years. Enthusiasm, experience and a huge amount of knowledge have made their mark on its quality, literally honing this gin to an exceptional level of quality. It is manufactured by hand in small batches from eight selected herbs including basil, lavender, kaffir lime leaves and hand-picked sage.

Ferdinand's pays tribute to the Mosel region

The premium German gin Ferdinand´s Saar Dry Gin from the Mosel region has an exceptionally complicated recipe. Its secret lies in the number of herbs used - over 30 types – including thyme, sloe and rosehip. During production, the master distiller of the gin infuses it with Riesling grapes, giving it a specific delicate flavour. The gin has an elegant floral aroma with a hint of citrus fruits. Luxurious tones of lavender, juniper and rose come to life in your mouth with the delicious flavour of Mosel Riesling.

The distinctive and delicious legacy of Spain

The luxurious Gin Mare is a premium gin from Spain, typical for its saltiness. It is produced using herbs to be found in the Mediterranean. Alongside traditional herbs such as juniper, bitter orange peel, Seville orange peel, lemon peel, cardamom and coriander, use is also made of the not-so-typical Arbequina olives, basil, rosemary and thyme.
