All that bass vs. slender curves
While Cindy still belonged to the era of models with some meat on their bones, boasting seductive feminine curves and a muscular build, Kaia is part of a generation where extra pounds are completely undesirable! Cindy was 16 years old when she began to think seriously about starting a modeling career. It was then that her photo happened to appear in the school magazine DeKalb NITE Weekly and stirred much interest. Shortly afterwards, Cindy began working for photographer Victor Skrebneski in Chicago, but the big turning point came in 1986, when she moved to New York and signed a contract with the New York modeling agency Elite.

A few months later, she started walking for the most prestigious fashion brands such as Versace, Chanel, Christian Dior or Dolce and Gabbana and appeared on the covers of almost every fashion magazine. In 1988, she was the first top model to pose naked for Playboy.
From a model to an actress and a businesswoman
Cindy always had high ambitions and strolling down the catwalk wasn't enough for her. The beautiful brunette has made several exercise video tapes, released a series of swimsuit calendars, invested in the Planet Hollywood restaurant chain, and starred in several movies, the most famous one being Fair Game.
