"It's been seven years since I first performed in Prague at Strings in Autumn. I fell in love with the city and the festival back then, so I'm excited about the opportunity to come back here and play this unique concert. Prague offers one of the most beautiful skylines in the world, and I'm looking forward to showing the world in September that Prague sounds again and that music has a healing power,"

said Daniel Hope.

The Cohen concert will have an intimate atmosphere

Although double bassist Avishai Cohen sells out huge arenas, he will perform in a very intimate setting in Prague. Only 250 spectators can fit on the Lucerna rooftop, which is why not one, but two concerts will take place in September. Cohen will be the one to open the festival with his concert on September 11.

The uniqueness of the evening will be underlined by the charming environment between the Prague towers on the roof of the Lucerna Palace, which offers a unique view of the city's landmarks. This is the very first concert of a world star at this location.

"We have originally started to organize these extraordinary outdoor concerts 'because' of the virus, but in the end, I think we can say it was 'thanks' to the virus. Two unforgettable concerts await us, and it is precisely such uplifting experiences that we all need at this time,"

says the founder and president of the festival Marek Vrabec.
