Children of famous singers or actors often decide to choose the same career path and follow in the footsteps of their father or mother. In the family of model Andrea Verešová, that's not the case. Her beautiful daughter Vanessa decided to put on snowboard boots instead of pumps. And it was a good decision. She brought home two gold medals from the Winter Olympics for Children and Youth in the Karlovy Vary Region. Our editorial staff at LP-life.cz was interested in how Andrea herself felt about her daughter's success.

She may be only twelve years old, but she certainly doesn't lack discipline and strong will. Andrea Verešová's daughter Vanessa Volopichová, who was blessed with inheriting her mother's beauty, never wanted to become a model. Since her early childhood, she's been investing all her energy and time into sports. Her favorite turned out to be snowboarding, which she's been pursuing since age seven.

"Shomehow we feel more and more strongly about her success at the Olympics. The two gold medals she won are actually a form of satisfaction and reward. While other kids hang out with their friends or watch TV during the weekends, she gets up and practises very hard every day,"

told us her mother Andrea, whoalso occasionally puts on a ski suit in her spare time and sets out to the mountains with her family.

Like any athlete, Vanessa has days when she really doesn't feel like snowboarding. If that happens, Andrea stays calm. Unlike many other parents, who tend to force their children to pursue their hobbies, Andrea told us that she does exactly the opposite and lets her daughter decide freely.

"I'm very happy that she's doing something that fulfills her. But when the weather is bad, she's tired or has a lot of homework for school, then she simply doesn't want to practise, and that's understandable. But I always give my children a choice,"

Andrea told us, adding that she was curious about how Vanessa would act during her puberty.

According to her results, however, Vanessa seems to be dedicated to achieving her goals, and maybe she will become another Eva Samková, who, like her, excels in snowboardcross. She has recently informed her mother Andrea that she was also starting to practise skiing, and so it's possible that she will also shine in this discipline in the future.

And how does it feel, seeing your child overcome various obstacles and banked turns in high speed?

"There will always be some form of natural concern and fear in me, but I admit it's not as intense as it was when I saw her flying in the air for the first time. Today, it's largely interconnected with gymnastics or acrobatics and as they say, no guts, no glory. I leave it all to fate and I believe she'll get through it in good health,"

Andrea concluded.
