The world-renowned designer Roberto Cavalli has unleashed his imagination. The result is the M/Y Freedom yacht with a luxurious interior!
The M/Y Freedom yacht was created in collaboration with the renowned Italian luxury super-yacht designer, Tommas Spadolin, who has worked with a number of leading companies such as Baglietto, Rossinavi and Wally during his stellar career. Robert Cavalli's wish was to own a yacht that he would “drive like Batman”. And so M/Y Freedom was created for up to 4 guests and 3 crew members. It is 27 meters long and capable of travelling at 40 knots. The construction was taken up by the Italian shipyard Cerri Cantieri Navali, which built the yacht in an incredible 14 months. The yacht's value is estimated at $20 million.
In terms of exterior design, Cavalli longed for something athletic and aggressive, reflecting his personal approach to life at sea and his strong personality. The challenge was to maximize contact with the sea while ensuring uncompromising privacy.
An important element on which Cavalli relies is a comfortable modern space, natural light and, obviously, a view of the sea. There is also a unique style of the creator influenced by an exotic spirit. That is why African animal prints dominate the upholstery, covers and cushions. The interior is black, grey and white and is complemented by golden shining decorations. Cavalli's personal panoramic photos taken during travels form a luxurious yacht accessory. A specialty is his own cabin, as he himself is the owner of a naval license.
VIP suite and guest cabin are located on the lower floor, along with the kitchen, dining room and crew accommodation. The suite itself is on an elevated level behind the captain's cabin, which is quite unusual.
