She exchanged Kotva for the Four Seasons Hotel Prague and the Presidential Suite. On the final day of the MBPFW, Zuzana Kubíčková surprised us with her inventiveness again. There's a reason why the sayig goes: "The best comes last!"
The luxurious presentation that Zuzana Kubíčková put together this time introduces 7 breathtaking stories. Make yourselves comfortable, for we are inviting you for a visit of the Baroque building by the Vltava River, where beautiful models in the heavenly Pop 2019 designs filled the presidential suite for one afternoon.
How does Zuzana Kubíčková's walk through Four Seasons look like? A girl is kneeling in the lobby, holding a rosary in her hand and praying.
Entering the living room, your eyes will fall upon a graceful ballet dancer training her body by the window. Music is wafting from the nearby piano and two other models are resting on the sofa. The beauty takes your breath away.
There is a dining room hidden behind the corner, and 5 o'clock tea is being served at a massive wooden table. Just a few steps away, a little girl is leaning over sheets of paper, spread on a table in a small square study. Could it be she’s working on a new tale of romance?
Similar stories are waiting to be discovered in the other rooms - a luxury bathroom where beauty rituals are taking place, a dressing room, where one of the models is browsing through Pop designs, or an adjoining bedroom where a maid is making the beds and wiping off dust.
Of course, all these tasks are performed by girls wearing the luxurious models of Zuzana Kubíčková. The key shades of the new Pop 2019 line are powder and apricot enriched by green and dark blue.
The laid back collection consists of straight high-waist pants, pleated skirts, chic coats and jackets or refined underwear. The main idea of the entire basic collection is to provide the wearers with a non-trendy base for their wardrobes - a task Zuzana Kubíčková excelled at.
Zuzana Kubíčková is a very artistic woman, which showed throughout her newest collection. It's really pleasant to finally see models that won't be OUT in a few months. In short, a classic that is very cosmopolitan in its conception.
In my opinion, the absolutely best model is the one composed of a looser silk shirt and classic waist trousers. All this in a soft cream color. Beautiful, luxurious and absolutely timeless. Whether you see a similar combination on Jacqueline Kennedy at the turn of the 60's and 70's, or on the top model Cara Delevigne while taking a stroll through the city... it never loses its charm!
On the other hand, I had zero interest in the transparent lace blouse with a high collar, matched with a waist skirt and a scarf tied around the head. I can't help it, but this model reminds me of former JZD (agricultural cooperative) workers. Power to the people!
