The fall of Bitcoin, which is currently happening, shows that the positive sentiment derived from a cryptocurrency-friendly administration and support from prominent figures has run out of steam.

The American president accepted the invitation on the spot. If the visit takes place, Trump will become the first elected leader in modern history whom a British monarch has received for two state visits. Bitcoin is falling, it's the lowest since November 11
The price of bitcoin plunged to a three-and-a-half-month low below $80,000 this morning. The most famous cryptocurrency is weighed down by uncertainty about US President Donald Trump's plans for tariff introduction and his policy towards cryptocurrencies, as well as investor mistrust after the theft of the rival cryptocurrency ether worth $1.5 billion. In morning trading in Asia, it fell below the $80,000 mark for the first time since November 11. Over the last 24 hours, it has recorded a drop of more than five percent. Since Trump took office, however, bitcoin has lost more than a quarter of its value, reported the portal Ceskenoviny.cz.
Thailand deports 48 Uighurs to China, criticism grows
Despite strong objections from activists and human rights groups, Thailand has deported at least 40 Uighurs to China's Xinjiang region. Critics of the move warned that those deported risk torture, mistreatment, and "irreparable harm" if they return. Human rights groups have been accusing China of widespread abuse for years, including mass detention of Uighurs. It is a Muslim ethnic minority totaling about 10 million people. Beijing rejects all these claims, Al Jazeera reported.
Katy Perry joins the Blue Origin space flight
Singer Katy Perry and journalist Gayle King are heading to space with Jeff Bezos's fiancée Lauren Sanchez and three other women - former NASA scientist Aishu Bowe, research scientist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn. The crew of the Blue Origin rocket will thus consist exclusively of female celebrities. Blue Origin has been flying with tourists into space since 2021, AP pointed out in this regard.
