Monika Drápalová brought the legendary net bag back to the runway in her SS19 collection!
A sure bet: Net bags and denim.
During the fashion show titled Garden Stage “Artisan” S/S19/ the runway was overrun by eternal denim and also the legendary net bag. Monika Drápalová filled it with fruit and vegetables to make it more authentic, which made this deluxe show not only interesting, but also fun.

Randomness combined with minimalism
Random, full of improvisation and expressive statements. That is what Monika Drápalová’s work is usually like. However, this time her collection radiated deluxe minimalism, which was manifested in the form of simple jumpsuits, elegant coats, jackets and stylish shirt dresses.
From belts to corsets
Trendy hats, casual tennis shoes, subtle belts and even an elaborate corset worn over an off-the-shoulder dress with a full gathered skirt. Monika Drápalová presented a deluxe play of accessories that we enjoy.
She also created models for the men
Show Garden stage "Artisan" S/S 19“ was not only full of deluxe models for women. Monika Drápalová also presented several items for men. And what can the male population expect from the spring/summer 2019 collection? Stylish coats, which include original models made from denim and also items embellished with subtle leaves, simple jumpsuits and basically every type of trousers.
Slim, with an elasticated waist, flared!
A striped slim item, a sporty model with an elasticated waist and even flared trousers in snow-white. With regard to trouser design and colour it seems that there are no strict rules for men to follow next season.

The question about whether her absence from fashion week harmed her in any way deserves a resounding NO. Maybe it was even a well-thought out step that actually drew even more attention to her successful collection...
I personally became immediately addicted to the combination of dark blue with white flowers in her SS19 collection. It is delicate, refined and playful at the same time. The design is naturally also important and I must say that Monika also passed this test with flying colours! And I also liked her ruffled off-the-shoulder dress with balloon sleeves. It was truly magnificent and would certainly also stand out on the international market. And where would you go wearing this distinctive item? If your birthday is in the warmer months then I would recommend it as a model for the birthday girl!
And finally, I have to mention the very simple white dress worn with the cream coat, long belt, impressive hat and western boots made from snakeskin. It seemed to have a trace of the Australian Zimmerman brand! And because this is one of my favourite brands of all time, I received Monika’s inspiration with great pleasure! Going to work in dowdy business clothes? Forget it, because you will certainly win points in this “cowboy” model!
