The FIFA World Cup Trophy Got a New Luxury Cover from Louis Vuitton!

She will be accompanied by the legendary Spanish footballer, goalkeeper and captain of the winning team from the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, Iker Casillas.
The custom-made cover emerged from the historic workshops of the fashion house
The luxury cover for the prestigious trophy was produced by the historic workshops of the fashion house in the town of Asnières near Paris; it was made by hand by its master craftsmen. The surface is of beautiful light and at the same time resistant material, Monogram Titanium, with laser-cut motif. The eight corners of the cover are covered by natural leather for greater protection. The lock and the six clips are made of durable ruthenium whose chemical symbol Ru symbolises the host country.

The world had already had an opportunity to see the renowned trophy produced from pure 18-carat gold with a stand of semi-precious malachite in this luxurious cover. The Russian model, actress and philanthropist presented it alongside legendary footballer, Frank Leboeuf, in May in Paris. At that occasion she wore a polo-neck midi dress with horizontal stripes.
