The brewery ceased to function in 1998 while today offices, shops and housing units are located there. In the direction from Libeň, the main dominant feature of the quarter is the high-rise Lighthouse building dating from the beginning of the 21st Century and the older high-rise Kovo building. Luxury architecture and housing virtually in the centre

There are a lot of remarkable buildings on Mánesova. In the upper part (nearer to náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad) the houses tend rather to be late geometric Art Nouveau in style, designed by Josef Kovařovič or Bohuslav Homoláč. On the contrary, the lower part of the street is full of neo-Renaissance buildings dating back to the end of the 19th century.
