The treetop trail Bachledka is located in the heart of the beautiful forests of the Pieniny National Park. The more than 600-meter-long route takes visitors through a species-diverse, varied forest. The top of the route is an amazing view from the lookout tower, 32 meters high. The ascent will take you to a height of 24 meters.
Podhájska

The Podhájska thermal pool is known for its healing geothermal water. The composition is similar to the water of the Dead Sea. The water in the spring has a temperature of 80°C. It contains a lot of iodine, which makes it brown, salty and has almost miraculous effects against many health problems.
Mlyňany Arboretum
The Mlyňany Arboretum is proud to have the richest and most valuable collection of exotic, especially evergreen tree species in Slovakia. It's one of the largest in Central Europe. You'll find here more than 2,300 species of plants from different parts of our planet. Many Asian woody plants here are unique specimens, which you won't find anywhere else outside the Asian continent. The dominant feature of the area is a romantic chateau. The main walking route is 4.5 kilometers long.
Zveropark
The Zveropark is a place where nature and a fairytale atmosphere mix together. Here you will find peace, cute animals, a gurgling waterfall and a lake full of fish. Children can have fun on the playground, jump on popular trampolines or pet snuggling mini-sheep and mini-goats. Around 30 species of animals can be seen in the Zveropark. So there is definitely something to look forward to.

The fairy-tale world, as if taken right out of the works of the Slovak folklorist Pavol Dobšinský, can be found in the village of Donovaly. It consists of houses that are a mixture of folk and fantasy architecture. The atmosphere of Slovak folk tales surrounds all the visitors here. Unforgettable experiences will be ensured by the heroes of folk tales, such as Loktibrada, Popolvar, Biggest in the World and others.
Mysterium Bojnice
This place will give your brain a hard time. The Mysterium offers fun puzzle games for all ages. These are the popular escape games, the essence of which is a thematically designed story. During the game, you have to find different keys, decipher the clues and get out in time. You have a certain time limit to solve the mystery. Mysterious, fun, but most of all a lot of non-traditional experiences await you here.

The national park located on the Polish-Slovak border offers a large number of picturesque natural beauty concentrated in a small area. The main local attraction is a rafting trip through the canyon of the river Dunajec - the largest canyon in Central Europe.
One of the tourist attractions of the village of Snina is the local natural swimming pool, built by rebuilding three original swimming pools. It's particularly interesting because the water in it is filtered in the biological zone by means of aquatic plants, meaning exclusively in a natural way without the use of chemicals. The water from the pool is pumped into a secondary purification tank, in which ten species of aquatic plants are planted. These miracle plants feed on impurities from the human body that are released into the water during bathing. The more people bathe here, the more the plants thrive. Their task is to ensure clean water.
Open-air museums

The open-air museum in Zuberec tries to bring visitors closer to the period of life in Orava. It consists of more than 50 houses and other buildings of folk architecture. The houses are furnished in the period style, domestic animals are kept here and in the summer typical crops are also grown here. This open-air museum is divided into five parts, representing various forms of villages and homesteads. A special place of interest is the wooden Gothic church.
The settlement of Kysuca, a magical place that many people don't know about, is also a living open-air museum. It's not located in the Kysuce area, as its name suggests, but in the Brezno county. The settlement of Kysuca was supposed to give way to the planned construction of a dam in the 1980s, but in the end, it didn't take place. It was later discovered by a group of enthusiasts who were fascinated by life in the countryside and decided to preserve it in its original form. They bought several log cabins from the village and reconstructed them in a way that preserves the elements of folk architecture.

Kmeťo's waterfall
With a height of approximately 80 meters, it's considered the highest waterfall in Slovakia. The waterfall is named after the well-known Slovak botanist and co-founder of the Slovak National Museum in Žilina, Andrej Kmeťo. For a better view of the waterfall, an observation deck was built on the left bank of the stream. However, direct access to the waterfall is prohibited.
Upside down house

The upside-down house is a unique project. You can find it only in one place in Slovakia near Liptovský Mikuláš. This interesting house was built by a Slovak businessman as a reaction to his unsuccessful war with the bureaucracy in Slovakia. He wanted to indicate with it how the state works. Over time, his protest became a successful tourist attraction, which is still very popular. So what is it that you can see here? Imagine a classic family house with everything that belongs in it - a kitchen, living room and bedrooms... And now turn it upside down.
Bat cave
The publicly accessible cave, about 57 meters long, is a unique destination for trips. This non-traditional natural formation is open to the public free of charge. But that's not all of it, there is much more hidden inside the cave. It's currently inhabited by bats who have settled here and you can see them basically all year long, in the winter months in greater numbers than in the summer.
The cottage of Grandpa Večerníček

The cottage of Grandpa Večerníček is known to millions of television viewers, but not everyone probably knows that it really exists. It's located in the village of Nová Sedlica in the county of Snina. The reconstruction of the house took 4.5 months. Slovak public television, which owns the building and the land, would like it if the house of Grandpa Večerníček became a popular tourist attraction. Therefore, they want to set up an exhibition here that would remind visitors of the TV bedtime stories of the Czechoslovak and Slovak television, so that people can travel back in time to the fairy tales they loved.
Symbolic cemetery in Popradské Pleso

It's an important memorial site in Tatra Mountains near Popradské pleso. The symbolic cemetery serves primarily to honour the memory of all those who lost their lives in the High Tatras, but also important Tatra people who perished in the mountains around the world. There are more than 160 memorial plaques and 50 hand-carved coloured wooden crosses.
