The new Gucci collection is a story that will take you behind the scenes of the luxurious world of fashion. Would you like to know what all preparing for the World Fashion Week entails? Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele said about the new collection inspired by the 1970s.
Models were replaced by the Gucci team
What's also interesting, Alessandro Michele decided to present his models on members of the Gucci design team rather than on the usual catwalk models. We absolutely support this non-traditional approach and we're ready to let Gucci take us for a ride on the wave of vivid colors and patterns that Resort 2021 embodies.

Hippie fashion vs. elegance
We really enjoy hippie outfits with their energetic shades. Actually, we enjoy them so much that we wish we could go back in time to the seventies and experience the carefree atmosphere of the flower children firsthand. And we wish to slip into these awesome minimalist models that emenate elegance and style just as much! You, too, should invite moss green or burgundy into your closet, this is their time now.

Who wouldn't love sunglasses that cover half the face and can easily hide dark circles and bags under one's eyes, courtesy of all the wild, sleepless nights. And yes, sometimes they come in handy even in those cases when we're too lazy to spend a few minutes in the bathroom trying to paint on something resembling a face. The right kind of sunglasses can be a blessing and a stylish accessory in one. Gucci knows this, and so does Naďa Urbánková, who seems to have been born with a pair of sunglasses on her nose. We have no doubt that she'd find a supply for the whole tour in this collection!

Gucci. Anyone who's been following this brand during the last few seasons knows very well what they can get. And they'll get all of it and more. The hippies session can commence!

I decided to try and pick pieces that could be worn even, let's say, on more serious occasions from the typical explosion of colors, patterns and materials. Yes, this may be a green tornado, but in my opinion it's still wearable and I'd say it can just as easily be used separately. Go completely green, or combine the jacket with jeans and a white shirt.

I don't really like being covered in brand logos from head to toe, however, this coat with a classic GG is a luxurious addition any wardrobe. If you want to hang your black/gray/beige coat on the rack for a while and spice up your life with something more interesting, this is an obvious choice.

And this is something I'd recommend to people who already have a relationship to patterns and some experience with them. I admit that my comments sometimes contradict each other a bit - at first I praise French charm and then I pick something like this. But this is exactly the case when I think it doesn't hurt to go a little wild every now and then. And what kind of women would we be if we didn't have a few patterns, a bit of glitter and stuff like that in our closet?

Take a look at the latest Gucci online campaign, feel the atmosphere and you'll immediately understand why I've chosen this model. Meadows, flowers, freedom, aerial view. This dress naturally complements that. Besides, let's be honest here, when summer heat hits, airy dresses are the only thing that can help us maintain our feminine delicacy and hide the fact that we are sweating like construction workers! And now I've killed the romantic atmosphere I created at the begining, haven't I?
Gucci is not my flagship, but I always enjoy looking at their collection. It's a breath of optimism that I like to borrow from time to time.
