FAIR AND SQUARE: A taxi from Bolt? Never!
There are good and bad people in the world. No matter where you go. That's the way things are. But recently, human monstrosity seems to have reached the very muddy bottom about the existence of which I'd been blissfully unaware. The media have got us accustomed to miscreants abusing animals, scumbags robbing old people, partners hurting each other... but an asshole of a driver kicking a blind passenger out on the street because he doesn't want to transport her guide dog, that's a first!
Seriously?! Dude, that dog is less dirty than you! God, this video really pissed me off. I've seen it at least a hundred times. I'm trying to decipher this bastard's facial features.
Expensive but safe
I have some experience with Bolt drivers myself. Some of them seemed nice, but most were oafs that had no grasp of the Czech language, and what's more, they were unable to read navigation and their driver's licence couldn't have been older than three days or so. That's what I call a death ride. After a couple of those, I started using regular taxis again. They might be a little more pricey, but at least I know who's coming to pick me up!
That poor blind lady lost in the bowels of Žižkov had to go through hell. Just imagine - you get in the cab, expecting that the driver would take you someplace you know, but instead, the jerk suddenly starts to drag you out of the car like a bag of potatoes? The idea of a stranger touching me alone is enough to drive me crazy. It kinda feels like getting robbed. Robbers look for your valuables everywhere, even in the underwear drawer, so when you come home, you'll find all your stuff strewn around and you'll know SOMEONE was touching it with their filthy hands.
The worst thing is that you can hear her calling for help on the recording. That desperate screaming. It literally gives me the chills. And what really ticks me off is that while Bolt fired this pig, he'll just register with some other company that won't run a background check on him. He'll get in, no questions asked. Yes, it is that anonymous. What's more, he got off the hook with an offense. I'd have cut his hands off.
Mysterious hairdresser
And here's another thing I found on the Czech Internet. Is there really a creep riding in public transportation that cuts off strands of women's hair? If that ever happened to me, I think my hair would turn gray on the spot. I pay my hairdresser insane amounts of money so that my hair wouldn't look like straw and my color wouldn't resemble a wet rat. And then a random pervert inconspicuously creeps close enough to cut off my beauty worth thousands? God, the world's going to Hell in a handbasket.
I hope that if nothing else, he's collecting all that hair for cancer patients who'd lost their mane due to chemotherapy. That he's not doing it purely out of fetishism. Bless the good old deviants who are content with rubbing against you on the subway.
All in all, I'm really upset about it all and it makes me want to cry. Why can't we just treat each other nicely? I'm no ray of sunshine, but I'm still firmly behind the motto: Treat others the way you wish to be treated.
