In the northwest of the United States, you may come across a place called Enchanted Lodging. At first glance, you might feel like you have entered a completely different world or barged into a movie set, but soon you'll find out that it's not the case and that you have, in fact, arrived at lodging facilities inspired by the famous home of Frodo and Bilbo Baggins from J.R.R. Toliken's books Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Before you know it, you will find yourself in a world full of imagination, even magic. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the land of dreams.
The magical resort was designed by Steven Michaels, a huge Hobbit fan. In the wild countryside of Montana, US, spreading over nearly twenty acres, an imaginary Hobbit Shire set in the fictitious Middle Earth awaits.
"I'd originally planned to build only a guest house for family and friends. But when my friend noted that the hotel looked like the Hobbit House, I immediately came up with a plan. I've always had a great imagination, so this theme was perfect for me,"
The decor and architecture of the complex will convince you that you've stepped into a different world. Take this amazing fairy-tale-like design, add laughter of invisible forest nymphs, ghostly sounds as you walk the bridge across the river, hundreds of fireflies or lasers, and you'll feel like you have returned to your childhood – at least for a while.
Due to Hobbiton's remote location, far away from the general public, you won't be able to catch a signal easily here. That might be disappointing for some, seeing as you won't be able to immediately share this beauty on your social networks, but on the other hand, being "cut off" from reality adds the experience extra peace and authenticity. Moreover, the resort is intended only for adults and children from the age of twelve, so if you're planning to reconnect with your partner here or experience something exceptionally romantic, you can be sure that you won't be bumping into strollers loaded with crying babies.
Located underground, the suites boast modern equipment, so you have no reason to worry that you'll find nothing but wooden bowls and spoons in the kitchen. Lodgings are available under one condition: you need to book for the minimum of two nights. One night for a couple costs $ 345, which is almost eight thousand crowns. Thanks to positive feedback and multiple star rating, Steven decided to build another magical resort.
