Christian Cowan is no coward! During the fashion week he presented models that took our breath away. Neoprene decorated with feathers, disco suits like something our of the crazy 80's or revealed breasts - those were not the only things in store for the guests during this creative designer's fashion show. The beautiful Karolína Kurková was there too, opening and closing the show.
One of the first stars that supported the young designer in pursuing his dream was Lady Gaga. She wore a sparkly pink model in 2014 and shortly after world stars such as Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Cardi B or Naomi Campbell began appearing in his models too.
The new SS20 collection doesn't lack a great deal of extravagance and the designer's favorite elements - feathers, vinyl, sequins, lurex or bows. And Karolina Kurková as a pink flamingo? That's just perfect!
Even though we do value Christian Cowan's creative spirit greatly, there are some models in his luxurious collection that we wouldn't wear at any cost!
You simply can't wear this piece anywhere! You'll be considered crazy on land and in the sea you'll sink to the bottom quickly under the weight of those feathers, and then the only living creatures left to admire you will be the fish.
This model is the same kind of flop. Looking at it we cannot shake the impression that the model has stopped by at a disco right after an afternoon spent in the swimming pool.
A model that delighted us, on the other hand, was definitely the luxurious mini dress that Karolína started the show off with.
No less brilliant are these three models that you need to have some courage to wear - but, after all, you need some of that for wearing Christian Cowan's models in general!
Let's talk about how if I dressed up in some of this extravagant designer's models, I'd feel like a little bit of a nutjob. Let's be honest - I am no Lady Gaga, who's known for her crazy outfits. But even though I don't feel the need to be shocking at all costs, there are a couple models that I'd stand out in and I'd love it!
Well, this didn't work out too well. The model might be interesting, I'm into the fabric and the color, but I probably wouldn't wear it anywhere, I'd by really bothered by having my head wrapped up in fabric, unable to show my hair. The only thing missing here is being put in a box and wrapped up like a surprise gift.
Well this is really something. It's kind of like a big feathery bird combined with a sports jumpsuit. I have no idea what the designer was trying to express with it, but this model is seriously unwearable. But on the other hand, if we were to wear this, we'd be simply impossible to overlook.
This is my kind of thing! I'm the sporty type and anything that radiates comfort at the first glance is something for me. It might be a bit extravagant, but I don't mind that, comfort is comfort above all else! And when it's something extra on top, I'm just really into that!
I'm not a huge fan of pink, but this is an exception I actually enjoy. I love the color of the fabric and the great cut that's irregular and therefore makes the dress airy, not just hanging down. I'd def wear this to some kind of party where I'd want to be seen as a star.
This model reminds me of Whitney Houston in the movie The Bodyguard, when she sang the song Queen of The Night. I'd go up on stage in this outfit too, or a great party. The cut is great once again, in my opinion. It hides everything that we don't want to be seen, but we'd be incredibly sexy in it and I love that.
