The chocolate company Tony’s Chocolonely recently surprised their fans with the release of visualizations regarding the construction of a chocolate factory. The manufacturers plan to build their confectionery complex near Amsterdam. Originally, construction was to begin this year, but due to the economic and health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the laying of the foundation stone has been slightly delayed. If everything goes according to plan, the company hopes to be able to offer up to six hundred jobs and expects the factory to be visited by over five hundred thousand customers with a sweet tooth. Whatever your relationship to confectionery may be, you definitely don't have to worry about turning into a giant blueberry or bumping into a host of Oompa-Loompas during your visit. Although... Who knows, the plans may yet change.
