The new collection by the American designer Marc Jacobs, Fall 2020, is amazing, chic and perfectly feminine. Is Miley Cyrus just the cherry on top, or quite the opposite? Fashion Upstream took a closer look at that!
No, we really don't want to be mean, but Miley Cyrus looks like she's turned up on the runway by accident. Not only does her outfit not fit into the whole Fall 2020 concept at all, on top of that Miley looks zoned out, like somebody pissed her off really bad, or simply like she's forgotten to take her favorite happy pill in the morning. The only thing we envy Miley is the flat stomach, otherwise we think that during her marriage to the charismatic Liam Hemsworth she looked much better.

It's hard to say whether Marc Jacobs set out to gather inspiration straight in French streets, or he simply woke up one day and said to himself, "Today I'll try something different," but he really nailed this. The short wool coats and suits are a luxurious deal.

Fall in the style of Spring
Every time a rainy Fall is supposed to come after Summer, all of us throw away our colorful, bright yellow or pink models and cloak ourselves in dark colors to the likes of grey, black, brown. That irks me a lot, because I'd prefer to wear these happy colors all year round, black and rain make me depressed. That's why I'm elated that Marc Jacobs and his Fall collection go decidedly against the mainstream.
Retro
I love retro revivals. Retro yellow, pink and blue are perfect and Marc pulled off the return to the past perfectly, both with colors, materials and cuts.
Russian Masha
Well... like the yellow's good, the coat is great too, but the hat ruins the whole thing for me. Right at first glance I feel like there's a Russian Masha sctrutting down the runway instead of a chic French lady. Even though the outfit has potential.

A naughty schoolgirl
This outfit will never get old. A simple dress with a modest neckline. I used to dress like this to exams long ago... The model also has the look of an innocent girl, just as I used to have. But the scarlet color tells that clothes do not make the man, as people like to say. The wearer of this dress is secretly very naughty...

Fairy, aka dominatrix
I think this outfit is cool. The Madonna-style tight top with a built-in bra is more than a little sexy, the long shiny skirt adds attractiveness, just tell me, what is that train she's dragging along? She looks like she has to do as many squats as Jarda Jágr daily just to be able to drag this to the bar and back home.

Just threw out my Fidorka
If going for black, then make it interesting black and this lace is gorgeous. But... the wearer has to have a nice figure in order to be able to wear this with some sexy lingerie underneath. And because it's still just February... I still haven't managed to lose weight and the Czech Lion awards are approaching... I'm throwing away my unfinished Fidorka that I'm having with my afternoon coffee and booking a session at the gym in the morning!
