If you haven't yet noticed the new SS2020 campaign of the Italian duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, you're missing out on a lot. The campaign with the subtitle "Summer in Naples" has everything a great campaign should have. A spark, positive energy, luxury outfits and, most importantly, a great idea. This time, D&G didn't include only professional models with iconic body proportions that could be featured on front pages of world-renowned fashion magazines; they also gave space to regular inhabitants of Naples, Italy, in their project. See for yourselves, how it turned out!
The main star of the SS2020 is the Italian actor Michele Morrone, who has been considered a new sex symbol since the film 365 Days was broadcasted on Netflix. He's accompanied by charismatic models Chiara Scelsi and Elda Scarnecchia. With the first beauty, Michele Morrone enjoys the magical atmosphere of the charming streets of Naples, while with the other, he dances on the beach with unmistakeable Italian temperament. And they're not the only ones.
The people of Naples across generations are essential participants in this project. And we wholeheartedly applaud D&G for this decision! After all, who wouldn't want to spice up their retiremenet with an afternoon of shooting a luxury Dolce & Gabbana campaign?!
Seeing as the captivating atmosphere of the SS2020 probably pulled you in as much as it did us, we'd like to remind you that this is still a fashion campaign. Even though the sight of sunny Naples might have given you itchy feet and now you're resisting the urge to pack your suitcases and head off. Instead, let's have a look together at the models the Italian couple has prepared for you this year.
The midi dress Chiara Scelsi is wearing is absolutely luxurious. Sexy, sophisticated, with the characteristic DNA of the fashion house. And the white high-waisted swimsuit adorned with flowers will easily hide a couple extra pounds, ensuring that you'll feel comfortable under any circumstances. And would you look at the swimsuit or tops that Michele Morrone donned? Alright, ladies, out with it: wouldn't you like to have this sex symbol clad in stylish D&G clothes at home?!
