Newly planned tariffs on cars, aluminum, and pharmaceutical products are necessary according to US President Donald Trump to ensure domestic production of strategic materials in case of warfare or other crises. Text messages about war plans for upcoming military strikes in Yemen were sent by Americans to a group chat, which also included the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic magazine among others.

The United States will impose tariffs on cars, aluminum, and pharmaceutical products in the near future, said US President Donald Trump at a press conference on Hyundai's investment in the US. Trump also admitted that some countries may obtain exemptions if they reduce their own tariffs or relocate production to the US. Trump's administration in recent months, among other things, introduced a 25 percent duty on steel and aluminum imports. The US also imposed tariffs of 25 percent on imports from Canada and Mexico and doubled additional import duties to China by 20 percent, wrote Ceskenoviny.cz.

Top representatives of President Donald Trump's national security, including his defense secretary, sent text messages about war plans for upcoming military strikes in Yemen to a group chat that also included the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic magazine. The material "contained operational details of upcoming attacks on Iran-supported Yemeni rebels from the Houthi tribe, including information on targets, weapons that the US would deploy, and the sequence of attacks," said Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg. Just two hours after Goldberg received details of the attack on March 15, the United States began carrying out a series of raids against Houthi targets in Yemen, reported the agency AP.

According to this institution, there could be up to 2,000 new HIV infections per day and a tenfold increase in cases related to deaths from AIDS. US President Donald Trump, upon taking office on January 20, suspended almost all foreign aid from the United States. A few days later, however, the Department of State there said that aid efforts would continue under the president's emergency plan, reported Al Jazeera.
