The Queen of Pop and Grammy holder is a musical icon that also shines in the fiels of fashion industry and culture. Now she's back with a new album, Madame X, which will be followed by a special tour. It is not yet known exactly which places will be honored by her visit; among the few confirmed cities are New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami and Philadelphia.
"Madame X is a secret agent. She travels around the world, changing identities, and fights for freedom. She brings light to dark places. She is a dancer, a professor, a head of state, a housekeeper, a prisoner, a student, a mother, a nun, a singer, a saint, a whore, and a spy in a house of love. I AM MADAME X!”
Madonna's latest album, Rebel Heart, was released in 2015. In January 2018, Madonna announced on her Instagram that she was working on her next studio album, and in May of the same year she sang a part of a new song Dark Ballet at MET gala.
In mid-April 2019, the first single Medellín was introduced. Madonna sings there together with singer Maluma, a Latin American star from Colombia. Interestingly, Medellín happens to be the name of the town where Maluma was born. There is no shortage of wild and hot South American rhythms in the single, which has recently been reaping considerable success among listeners.
In addition to English and Spanish, you can also hear Portuguese on the album. Multicultural influences are evident, along with electronic music and art pop.
