Fashion designer Oscar de la Renta was always among the world leaders in wedding dress design. Already at first glance, you’ll notice the details, beauty and uniqueness of his work. This time, his collection will carry you to a magical garden.
The brand designers find inspiration in their own beautiful garden with a lot of exquisite flowers. For their wedding show, exceptional directors Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim decided to make use of sweet decorations with fine fern, leafs and similar items. This allowed the irresistible and light wedding dresses designed by Oscar de la Renta to truly stand out.
The whole SS 2018 collection offers a number of dresses with various styles – for women who want something clean, luxurious and simple, the designer created a dress made of fine fabrics that beautifully enlace feminine curves and make them more delicate. Or, you could choose a light dress which reveal the shoulders, or a dress with a V-shaped cut-out and thin skirt inspired by sirens. And the slightly more decorated dress, with fine lace flowers and made of a delicate fabric is also beautiful.
We love luxurious and prominent dresses which are chic and offer a lot of detail. The ragged dress with a gigantic luxurious skirt look magical and the shorter front revealing the legs has a mystical and sexy atmosphere. The playful use of laces is also irresistible and will take your breath away. On the other hand, the big ragged skirt with a luxurious flowery top and revealed shoulders is a perfect choice for a princess – it’s important to note that it nicely emphasizes the waistline, offering a lot of charm in combination with the large skirt; every bride will look magical in such a dress.
Designers also prepared something for feminists who like to wear luxurious men’s style clothes. Their wedding paintsuit decorated with a prominent silver belt is chic, and the same can be said about the overall whose top features lace flowers and with a big ribbon on the back. The simple top with a light see-through back and the designer’s signature is also cool – together with the white denim jacket, it’s a safe bet that every modern bride is going to love this style.
If I were to ever get married as often as Elizabeth Taylor, I’d have a great time thanks to the new collection by Oscar de la Renta. I mean, there’s plenty to choose from here, even for eight weddings! I just hope that my husband doesn’t read this…
The first piece that I really love is the combination of a simple top, maxi skirt with a ribbon, white denim jacket and necklaces with “Just Married” signs. While it may be true that this sort of look does require a bit of courage by the bridge – after all, it’s not the most classical look one would expect. However, the atmosphere evoked by the dress – to sit on a motorcycle with your newlywed husband and drive off somewhere for your honeymoon – is incredibly ROMANTIC!
Paradoxically, the other dress that really piqued my interest is the complete opposite of the first one. Simple, smooth, without decorations – just a corset and infinite fineness all the way to the ground. It’s as pure as crystal, and I think that there’s nothing better than getting married with the purest look possible. The dress itself seems to symbolize the trust between two people who want to spend the rest of their lives together!
