From 9. to 12. January 2018 there took place the 93rd year of the Pitti Immagine Uomo fashion fair, where the world-favourite designer, Karl Lagerfeld, has first appeared in person, presenting his own men's collection for the Karl Lagerfeld brand.
The popular and luxury fashion fair, held twice a year in the beautiful fortress, Fortezza da Basso, in Italian Florence, brought a real surprise. This is because many designers from all over the world have presented interesting fashion that really caught our attention. One of our greatest champions was the favourite designer, Karl Lagerfeld who has presented here his first ever men's collection of the eponymous brand.
The vision of Karl Lagerfeld concerning luxury men's clothes got under everyone´s skin.
The collection is very urban, but some may think that it is severe, strict, elegantly or luxuriously. On offer are clothes, accessories and, of course, shoes.
Every woman loves the luxury and affordable Karl Lagerfeld brand and will therefore appreciate if her husband can wear it too. The luxury Brand, founded by the German designer has a lot to offer. The range of the men's collection covers day wear, such as t-shirts, leather jackets, jackets and also more formal items, such as dinner jackets and cashmere sweaters, inspired by Sébatien Jondeau who has been Karl´s assistant for many years.
And once again our good old Karl. The spectacular Florentine Pitti Obbligato Uomo fair is now behind us and so it is time to assess what novelties did this event bring us. Karl does not feel like he does enough, and so he has bought a men's collection under his own name. I have lived under the impression that for such closely-observed fashion events everyone must press for the best performance possible. Unfortunately, the expectations have not been met.
So what was it that Karl presented under his own name? Completely ordinary black jeans in combination with jumpers and T-shirts, depicting the designer himself on a small print as a small Pokemon figure. So firstly: a repeated joke is NOT FUNNY! And secondly: if Karl does not have any decent idea, he should give up any further work.
This collection is the WAY DOWN!
