This is the honorable title held exclusively by the Arabian horse, which is without a doubt the most beautiful horse, as well as the oldest and purest breed there is. It has been carefully bred for thousands of years and played an important role in the development of most other horse breeds.
These horses are definitely lively, healthy, intelligent and beautiful, and these features have been passed down to all of its successors. Its pedigree is documented all the way back to the 7th century and throughout all this time, its breeding has been strictly selective without crossbreeding. Simply a luxurious horse! It can cost around 20 000 EUR.
History continues – English Thoroughbred as an amazing race horse
The English Thoroughbred was bred in 17th and 18th centuries in England to meet the nobles’ and kings’ passion for horse racing. Race horses have always been very popular in England. This luxurious horse is the fastest horse in the world, it has an excellent body structure and amazing performance. It differs from the Arabian horse thanks to its straight profile, pronounced withers and a strong back with a markedly long, slanted shoulderblade. The cost of this horse is around 15 000 EUR.
Appaloosa – wild and stubborn
This warm-blood horse was bred in Northern America and comes originally from Spain. It was bred by Nez-Percé natives, who – as the first tribe to do so – started breeding this horse already in the 16th century; in the 18th century they already had large herds of first-class horses. This breed is known for its toughness, controllability and fast learning. Originally, it was a riding horse, but now it’s more versatile. Its typical characteristics include large eyes with clearly visible whites around the irises. The price of Appaloosa can be 3 000 EUR but also 10 000 EUR.
Luxurious Mustang – free living breed of North America. Are they “sacred animals”?
These horses are not native to America; they are descendants of wild horses of Spanish colonists. The first mentions of Mustangs come from 16th century; American natives even considered them to be sacred. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Mustang became one of the symbols of America. The state of Nevada put them on coins and the name “Mustang” is used very frequently – for instance, both famous cars and planes bear the name. The price of Kiger-Mustang is between 1,2 - 2,5 thousand EUR.
