As the COVID-19 contagion continues to spread, thousands of people nearly all over the world are leading a fight against the virus. Many of us were caught off guard by the unexpected self isolation, which ended up being necessary as the pandemic grew. We were forced to restrict our movement in public and give up our social lives practically overnight. But the good news is that we're not alone. If you get bored during the day, come take a look with us at the encouraging words of celebrities, who are on the same boat as the rest of us.

Sharon Stone

Well-known singer Lady Gaga is currently, in her own words, "hanging" at home with her dogs, playing video games and cards and practicing. In the time of state-enforced isolation, she shares words of encouragement with her fans through social networks and motivates them not to lose hope.

"It’s not the easiest for everyone right now but the kindest/healthiest thing we can do is self-quarantine and not hang out with people over 65 and in large groups. I wish I could see my parents and grandmas right now but it’s much safer to not so I don’t get them sick in case I have it. I’m hanging at home with my dogs. I love you world, we’ll all get through this. Trust me, I talked to God —she said we’re gonna be ok,"

the singer encouraged her fans. She believes the only way to personal satisfaction is through kindness to other people.

"My thought for the day is to accept there will be times we feel powerless and out of control—but we can fill that space with kindness and be a part of the solution to a world problem. We then have control,"

Gaga says in her message.

Don't let yourselves get overwhelmed by your emotions!

American actress Sharon Stone, who became famous for her thriller Basic Instinct, decided to maintain regular contact with her fans during the quarantine and share her feelings with them on Instagram. In her latest post, the sixty-two-year-old star openly confesses how the current situation affects her.

"I've been having kind of a blue day today. I think we're all going through that. This self-quarantining is bringing up a lot of our own emotions that we haven't been alone enough to really confrot. And I just wanna say that that's a good thing. It's good to know your feelings and see who you really are,"

said the actress. In the uploaded video, she also recommended that people don't let their emotions frighten them.

"They're just feelings, they not gonna do anything to you. Be grateful for them. Get to know yourself and think of who you are when you look into the core of you,"

said the actress.

Be creative!

Pop singer Christina Aguilera, Grammy winner and mother of two, shared with her fans on Instagram not just words of encouragement, but also advice for parents who are at home with their children.

"While we distance ourselves and keep our communities safe, I encourage you to get creative - find ways to do the all the little things that make you happy. Life is a gift and sometimes it takes these hard reminders to realize all that we have and what we live for...the things that REALLY matter,"

the singer shared along with a photo of her daughter painting.

Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot, famous for the film Wonderwoman, definitely doesn't lack creativity. She decided to reach out to dozens of celebrities, including actors Mark Ruffalo, Amy Adams, Natalie Portman and Norah Jones to sing the song Imagine by John Lenon, which the younger generation associates more with Elton John.

"This virus has affected the whole world. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from. We're in this together,"

the actress says at the beginning of her video. Check out the celebrity song yourself and see how well they did.
