Unusual props and extravagant accessories: Gucci continues his beloved opulence.
One thing is certain as soon as there is a Gucci show on the programme, you certainly won’t be bored. The deluxe FW 2018/2019 fashion show, during which some models held very unusual props – such as a precise replica of their head, a coral snake or a baby dragon, is proof of this! The extravagant show culminated with crazy props and head coverings, which frequently only left the models’ eyes visible.

The deluxe FW 2018/2019 fashion show brings you fashion from all corners of the world
FW 2018/2019 is a true fashion jungle in which you can find a mixture of styles from around the world. You can see French elegance, far away America represented by the Paramount Pictures logo, head coverings evoking Japan and Russia or exotic turbans, so typical for Africa and Asia. It seems that Gucci drew his inspiration from all around the world.
Velvet is the autumn trend: Gucci confirms this after Fendi and Prabal Gurung!
Velvet is becoming the hot trend for autumn. Gucci also presents this unusual material in the footsteps of Fendi or Prabal Gurung. He has integrated it into mini and maxi dresses, coats and trousers. The scarlet maxi dress, which contrasted with the porcelain skin of the model, was easily the most distinctive velvet robe.
Celebrities wore stylish clothes to the show – they wore items from the SS 2018 collection
Well-known faces also came to see the deluxe show and they wore stylish items from the Gucci SS 2018 collection. Cloë Sevigny, the American actress and former model, arrived in a light spotted satin overall, actress Rowan Blanchard wore a pea-green overall and actress Miriam Leone plumped for sequins and presented a blue-black dress with shoulder straps combined with a white top.

A fascinating collection!
I was fascinated by the newest Gucci collection, but it also gave me a very unpleasant feeling. This was certainly caused by all those props, which appeared during the show. The operating table, the chopped off heads in the hands of the models or the frightening balaclavas. I felt as if I was watching the American Horror Story at times!
But if I avoid some of the horrifying or completely washed out models, I liked one very extravagant dress, which was completely transparent on top, the nipples are hidden behind flashing jewels and then the skirt transitions to light pink and ends with mint velvet. Absolutely unbound decadence live! But definitely only suitable for a private party with an eye mask...
