If you want to avoid long tiring journeys, congested motorways, traffic jams, bet on the Flaris Lar 1. This single-pilot plane for four passengers, the original designers of which are Sylwia and Rafał Ładziński. The current designer of the machine is Andrzej Frydrychewicz, who works in the field of aerodynamics with Krzysztof Kubrynski.
Very low takeoff weight, modern propulsion and exceptional aerodynamics are the exclusive features of this luxury aircraft. The Lar 1 also helps reduce emissions due to low fuel consumption, which is highly desirable. Lar 1 developed by Polish company Metal-Master has removable wings that are just large enough to fit into a garage. Flaris aims to attract various air taxi companies and pilot license owners who do not have a hangar for their aircraft, as in this case they only need a garage for the wings of the airplane.
Metal-Master founded a company in 2012 that manufactures aircraft under the Flaris brand. The company strives to serve as a development workplace for design and technological solutions for the production of S1 category aircraft. It also focuses on progress, innovation and is not afraid of new technology challenges.
The luxurious LAR 1 plane is equipped with a Williams International FJ33-5A turbine manufactured in America. The airplane has a scheduled speed of 437 km/h and its maximum range is 3,200 km, while at full load it is 2,200 km. It is 8.32 meters long and 2.43 meters high, it weighs 700 kg. It contains a Garmin G600 glass flight deck.
LAR 1 is expected to be introduced in the United States as an experimental airplane for aircraft companies at the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture Oshkosh in Wisconsin in July 2019, where Metal-Master expects to accept orders for the plane. The estimated price of LAR 1 will be about one and a half million euros.
