SUPERB iV boasts a plug-in hybrid drive that combines a petrol and electric motor. In addition to this key innovation, the Czech car manufacturer also introduced a luxury full LED matrix headlights or improved design. Come and join us for a look at the new addition to the Škoda brand!
SUPERB iV operates in several modes. The electric mode, in which the car is driven by a 13kWh battery for up to 55 kilometers, is ideal for short trips around the city. In the case of longer routes, it combines electric and gasoline engines as needed. The battery can be used to the full, or you can select a mode that will keep it at a higher charge level. However, it will never run out of power due to recovery or charging from the petrol engine.
Improvements have also been made to ŠKODA SUPERB in lighting. The headlamps are narrower and newly connected to the wider and lower grille. As the first serial model of the brand, the SUPERB is equipped with new full-LED-matrix headlamps with different LED modules, LED-light bars and fine LED needles.
SUPERB iV has a 1.4 TSI engine with 115kW and an 85kW electric motor. System performance is 218 horsepower and the six-speed DSG automatic transmission is in charge.
If we look at the new environmentally friendly SUPERB closer, we can also see a pleasant change here. CO2 emissions are less than 40g / km, making the car the ideal travel companion with an average consumption of 1.7l per 100km.
ŠKODA also offers an upgraded SUPERB in a classic version without a plug-in drive. You can find this luxury model in our photo gallery.
SUPERB iV can be ordered at the beginning of July 2019 and the first deliveries will take place in January 2020. The price will be around 1 million crowns including VAT.
