Eva Herzigová needs no introduction. This Czech supermodel has modelled for the most luxurious of global brands and was the face of Wonderbra in the nineties, radiant on the legendary billboards which caused traffic accidents! But Jarrod Scott is also no newcomer to the world of fashion. He has in the past worked for global brands such as Calvin Klein, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier and Tom Ford.
The campaign captures the models in motion, offering emotion and sensuality. It celebrates the expertise and precision of Italian craftsmen and works with luxurious fabrics, animal motifs and dazzling appliqués – rhinestone or sequins. In the campaign, Herzigová wears an embroidered dress with an animal motif, a snow-white fur coat and long black evening gown with metallic accents. The Australian model Jarrod Scott showcases not only jeans and a brown fur coat, but also his bare chest! This elegant and at the same time sexy campaign thus perfectly underlined the values of Roberto Cavalli. A pair of professionals, luxury fabrics and a slight hint of intimacy – therein lies the secret of success of this campaign!
The studio shots were taken by the French photographer Jack Waterlot, who captured the sensuality and strength of both models. The feminine beauty of Eva Herzigová and the masculine charm of Jarrod Scott symbolise two ideas which are rooted in the DNA of the Italian fashion house. But this talented photographer is not the only one who deserves credit for the campaign as a whole. The lion’s share of praise for such a great result also goes to the stylist Charles Varenne, the accomplished hairstylist Malcolm Edwards and the make-up artist Val Garland.
The Czech supermodel already showed off one of the luxury dresses at the Cannes Film Festival. You can see how perfectly it suited her in our photo gallery.
