A luxurious international exhibition of art dolls, puppets, Teddy collectibles and antique toys will be held in Prague for the fifth time. The fact that this is really a unique exhibition that has no equivalent in Europe is also indicated by the fact that as a guest, there will be a significant foreign personality!
Yes, it is designer E. J. Taylor, one of the top authors of luxury dolls, who will arrive at Slovanský Dům in Prague. The Doll Prague exhibition will feature some of his very rare dolls. He is known primarily for the creation of elves he used to decorate the first Tiffany store in NYC. In the framework of the upcoming workshops, he will lead one of the courses both for advanced artists and complete beginners. His luxurious works are to be seen in our gallery below.
Another outstanding guest will be Anna Zueva from Latvia. She is the star of the main exposition "The High Peak of Medieval Prague". You will see 10 luxury figures from her workshop.
Similarly to last year, a great number of doll artists and "teddysts" – manufacturers of the typical teddy bears, puppeteers, and animators from different countries will take part in this exhibition.

Luxurious dolls with a truly artistic value are very rare and expensive, and their prices can reach several hundred thousand crowns.
"It's the same as any other artwork. The fact that it is made manually: moulded, carved, sewn, is a matter of course. The value lies in its uniqueness. This means that there is only one piece of the exemplar, and is then marked in a certificate of authenticity as OOAK (one of a kind). Such doll may have a value up to 6.000 euros," says exhibition director Bohdana Klátilová, owner of ART CZ Gallery and laureate of international Pandora Platinum Prize awarded by International Cultural Fund of Doll Art, which she was given for the promotion and development of doll art.
Come with your children who can take part in interesting children's workshops, make their own puppets and discover the magic of those really beautiful dolls that have nothing to do with the everyday reality in supermarkets.
The luxury exhibition will be held from 23 to 25 November.
