Have you seen the iconic movie Casablanca from the year 1942, which is often considered Hollywood's best film? And did you know that although the film made the city world-famous, not a single take had actually been shot in Casablanca? Are you curious how Casablanca really looks like?
On April 1, one of the largest low cost airlines, Air Arabia, launched a new airline between Prague and Casablanca - a dynamic and multicultural city that has always been attracting mainly business people.
The flights will be departing twice a week, on Monday and Thursday at 8:30 PM (arriving in Casablanca at 11:35 PM), and returning on the same days at 2:50 PM (in Prague at 8:40 PM). One of the most widely used and reliable aircrafts in the world, Airbus A320, will be deployed. In Casablanca, travellers will be able to catch a number of Air Arabia connecting flights to cities such as Dachla or Nador, Tangier, Agadir, Rabat, Marrakech and more.
Casablanca is located in Morocco on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and right in the center of the most popular tourist area. Thanks to this, you can also visit other nearby interesting and luxurious destinations in addition to Casablanca, such as Mohamedia (30 km away from Casablanca), Rabat (90 km) or Mazagan (120 km).
Why are tourists drawn to Casablanca? There's a lot of business going on here, but that's probably not what you'd fly in for. Above all, visitors are curious about the luxury Hassan II Mosque, which was inaugurated in 1993. It is interesting to note that the whole nation contributed towards its construction. It cost more than one billion DEM and was built to withstand even the most devastating earthquake.
Prices for return tickets to Casablanca start at 4 570 CZK.
