Gwen Stefani, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Fox, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Carolina Kurkova, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Minogue, Gal Gadot, Hailey Bieber or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley… it would be hard to find a star who hasn't worn a model from Georgian designer David Koma at least once in their life. And if you take a look at the new Resort 2021 collection, you'll understand why.
This young charismatic designer with messy hair and captivating eyes definitely knows what women want. Seductive cuts and flattering silhouettes, distinctive patterns and unique combinations of materials - that's the reason why David Koma's models make every woman look like a goddess, and the luxurious Resort 2021 collection is no exception.
Resort 2021 could undoubtedly bear the subtitle "the hottest collection of the season". We haven't seen this many sophisticated models at a time in ages. And what's even better, the parade of sexy mini dresses, extravagant vinyl, neon and pastel colors doesn't look cheap in the slightest; quite on the contrary. Looking at these models, we long to have them all in our wardrobe.
What we really enjoy about the collection is the combination of classic cuts with David Koma's specific style, which is characterized by sexy cuts and a play of materials. Putting together a vinyl corset with a wool sweater or elastic sports shorts with a shimmering party top? No problem for this designer. If anyone is guaranteed to know when to give it some gas and when to hit the brakes, then it's definitely David Koma.
We love neon in all its forms and we'll definitely add this stylish oversized blazer on our shopping list! Will you follow suit?
Take a peek at the entire Resort 2021 collection and in the gallery at the end of our article and judge for yourselves how great the famous beauties look in the models from the talented designer.
David Koma. If I were to be honest, I don't know every fashion designer, I'm a bit of a barbarian that initially judges things on the "like/dislike" principle. Only when I see something that catches my attention several times in a row do I bother to start looking. And that brings us to David. I didn't know the name, but I had noticed his models. So far it's been about 50 to 50 for me - either love at first sight or horror of horrors. Hmhmhm, which will it be today, I wonder?
Very nice, veeery nice indeed. And how practical it is! A dress, a ski mask, swimming armbands and sweater in one fancy package!! Discounts in Lidl can suck it. Well, let's move on.
If the firestorm that a semi-transparent Poner dress caused at KVIFF is anything to go by, I don't think that attending the film festival in this dress is a particularly good idea. I am a firm believer in the rule "less is more", even if you want to be sexy, so it's a no from me. And most importantly - you'd feel cold in it and you couldn't wear granny panties underneath!
When I see this model, I can't but wonder when it was designed. It's ideal for the time of COVID, or for parties where you plan to take a nap. Anyone who has seen my model at Fashion Week proably is probably aware that I'm okay with that. But let's be serious now. A well-cut black jacket always gets a yes. In case of silver hair accessiories, however, I sort of automatically count with the fact that they shouldn't be covering the entire face. Right?
I have this photo in my favorites on Instagram. Do I need to say more? In short - a nice figure, a simple body-colored dress and interesting straps and a hem. Beautiful. It needs nothing more.
I heard that step aerobics was making a comeback. Personally, I quite enjoy the bicycle jeans/leggins, but preferably on models that have legs like a doe. The question is how wearable it will be in real life. Yet, as said, you will now see this trend everywhere you look, from Hailey Bieber through Bella Hadid to the Czech fashion week, at which occasion everyone will challenge themselves to previously unseen fashion performances. But why not, when this passes (and pass it will), we'll at least have leggings for house cleaning.
