The fashion brand Chanel has introduced the new Fall 2020 collection to the world, and this time it also includes a reference to the fashion genius Karl Lagerfeld.
The new collection from Chanel carries the spirit of freedom and sophisticated elegance. In addition to luxurious black and white outfits, tweed costumes, coats, and mini dresses, the creative director Virginia Viard presented the same type of riding boots that Karl Lagerfeld himself introduced to the company about forty years ago. She transformed them into the present and proved once again that the world will not soon forget this talented designer...
Riding boots go hand in hand with the aforementioned freedom as they inadvertently evoke a wild horseback riding and wind in your hair. Aaaah, have you just been daydreaming too? Karl Lagerfeld himself introduced riding boots into the company alongside his then muse Anna Piaggi in the 80s. We are totally in love with the new look that Virginia Viard gave them, as well as the relaxed and minimalist cuts of the luxury models.
Apart from the black-and-white classic, the collection also features the pea green color, which gives it the necessary flair and energy. Virginia Viard integrated this color in the collection in the form of a warm coat, a stylish costume or minidress with ruffled sleeves.
One of the most beautiful pieces of the collection is undoubtedly a black dress with fallen shoulders, complemented by a massive belt with colored stones worn by Kaia Gerber.

French elegance
When it comes to Chanel, I am kind of in doubt. Sometimes I find the collection too stiff, as if designed for the older generations and sometimes it is just marvelous. And I must say that this time I am completely astonished - not only by the outfits but also models. All of the models are beautiful, and beautifully young, so I think that even the conservative clothes look much better on them than it should. Young people wear horrible things today and I couldn't really imagine anymore that even these brats here could look chic. Well, just until they would open their mouths.
When I visited Paris, the city of elegance and gracefulness, some time ago, there were women exactly like that. Women who, even though they were catching a bus, were wearing heels, were perfectly dressed and smoking a cigarette in a mouthpiece. This is fashion for me in Paris. I don't think anyone can dress better.
After seeing this collection, I think that is exactly how the creative director of Chanel Virginia Viard imagines Parisians. So, hats off.
Black candy
You'll never ruin anything with black. I would normally tell you that this is just an ordinary dress. But the form of the round sleeve design with narrow forearms add on such a... flair. Moreover, the combination with white stockings completely disarmed me, no less the legendary shoes. I would have never thought of putting riding boots with such a short dress. This combination is just perfect.

This is a bit too much, so that's probably the only thing I have to criticize here. The material reminds me of a plush toy and that little cute band over my breasts? It would probably hide my nipples maybe. Sure, I understand they'd make it fit for me, but let's be clear... not that way.
