The Chanel fashion house is among the most luxurious brands in the world, and everybody is always excited about what superb designer Karl Lagerfeld will come up with. This year’s Haute Couture, which took place in Paris, is charming and naturally elegant.

It shouts beauty and optimism
The largest shopping gallery in Paris, Grand Palais, was transformed into a catwalk where the charming Chanel fashion show took place in a magical garden. The designer managed to transport us to a peaceful place where everything is beautiful and dreamy. The guests sat in a magical green garden with a lovely fountain in the middle, and stared open-mouthed at the models who presented articles from the exclusive collection, created with painstaking and superb care. Yet Karl says that presentation of the collection was not complicated.
Not French, but he has the knack!
Karl Lagerfeld is not actually French, as he comes from Germany, but he has the atmosphere and fashion in him. The gorgeous silhouettes and beautiful shades of pink, white, black and silver stood out in the garden, as did classic tweed, a hallmark of the Chanel brand that unmistakable belongs to it. The iconic Chanel jacket was hemmed with a floral motif and of course pockets.
Show dominated by luxury gowns and men’s style
Apart from irresistible and breathtaking gowns, the collection also featured plenty of men’s style, which also inspired Mademoiselle Coco. Karl combined knee-length shorts with simple and pure jackets. However, he didn’t forget an incredibly sparkly bodysuit, which is on trend. Now let’s take a look at the stunning dresses that crowned the entire show. The layered gown with luxuriously embroidered skirts and wonderfully soft feathers that added volume.

A luxury collection in true Coco style
Chanel and Haute Couture: one tends to ask oneself what kind of senseless madness it will be again. It is rather to be expected in haute couture. But the opposite was true! The entire show seemed to recapitulate the history of this brand: classic music and classic outfits in genuine Coco Chanel style.
I absolutely loved the little jackets, which looked like they came straight out of Jacqueline Kennedy’s wardrobe. For instance the pale mint coloured one with delicate silver sparkle – goodness, this is simply a coat to meet the Queen in. It would be a pity to wear it anywhere else! Literally.
But as is the case with every show, there were some truly terrible pieces here. Forgive me, but the bright green, loose, floor-length dress with the giant collar… I wouldn’t even dress a circus clown in that outfit.
On the contrary, the mini dress covered with crystals, silver and flowers… aaaaah… that’s what I call absolute romance! If anybody wants to win a woman’s heart, forget about flower. Bring her this Chanel dress and your beloved will follow you to the end of the world!
