Not only the Kyros collection was the one to literally shine at the Salone del Mobile 2018 Luxury products were teeming with an unbelievable play of materials and shapes. Wood, stone and marble. The actual colour palette was inspired by nature, in particular forest and stone. And which pieces made an impression on us?
The new system of washbasins, Kyros, designed by Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano. In the new mirrors in gold or green finish it was a joy to see the reflection. The wash basin named Elle Ovale was stunning with its beautiful metal frame. The luxurious black free-standing bathtub enticed for a relaxing soak.
In the past the Cielo brand oriented on grand objects, now it focuses more on better use of space. So as to make everything practical, taking as little space as possible, fulfilling the role of an exceptional element in a luxurious bathroom.
Awards and designers
Cielo designers cooperate with many prestigious personalities of international contemporary design, which they demonstrate by luxurious reputation and exclusivity of their products. Among them are designers Lorenzo Bellini, Marco Piva, Karim Rashid and Claudio Silvestrin who helped to elevate the Cielo name not only in Italy but also throughout the world.
What you should know about Cielo
Cielo´s seat is in the district of Civita Castellana, in the country of ancient art traditions and the main centre of ceramic arts. It was then, at the beginning of the twentieth century, that production of Ceramica Cielo brand was initiated, by the first master craftsman, Antonio Coramusi. The pursuit of excellence and use of appropriate techniques was based on sophisticated stylistic research and innovative approach. The choice of right materials and forms led to the creation of luxury collections of sanitary lighting, washbasins, shower basins, bathtubs and urinals. Through its pioneer approach Cielo brought extension of use of ceramics beyond the borders of the known market. Its merit lies in the drawing of attention to completely new shapes, sizes, thickness, surfaces and colours which have all become very popular.
