In collaboration with the Andy Warhol foundation Simons used graphics from the artist’s “Death and Disaster” series, which embellished beautiful, deluxe fashion items and gave them a little flair. Some of the clothes reminiscent of fluffy nightdresses seemed a little scary, but this décor created a unique and interesting design on denim.

This is what the designer was thinking of when he was creating the SS 2018 collection. The luxury clothing is inventive and perfect. The difference may be that he has an excellent intellectual and emotional approach. The horrifying prints are an emotional motif and you feel it at first glance, because you will feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. The same as when you think of the deluxe collection by Alexander McQueen with the Hitchcock motif. Do you remember the chill? Simmons used both shiny materials and light fabrics in his collection, as well as transparent meshes, which he layered over other items of clothing.

Calvin Klein is a winner in the field of underwear fashion, but unfortunately the brand is not as good at outerwear. From the very beginning this show was mainly about a kind of satin or silk on practically everything. I wore similar Bordeaux trousers in 2008 and when I think about it I don’t know WHY?! Firstly they are hot and when you sweat......they stick to you like glue.
Then there were all sorts of denim models, which will certainly not flatter female curves, because they basically make any figure into a box shape – or at worst a wardrobe. Then there was a section with some sort of sacks made from latex and similar materials. Well, excuse me, but you want me to wear a deluxe black dress worth tens of thousands, which people around me think is a sack full of rubbish??? That really made me laugh! This is what they call creativity?! Hahahah.
I personally would approve only two models from the entire collection. The first of these is the white off-the-shoulder dress with the scarlet flowers and blue pumps. This model is delicate, but the red makes it a little more exciting. Very well done! An elegant model suitable for a tea party after the polo for example. And finally the very extravagant dress with a fringe and mesh: your hips will swivel delightfully in this dress!
