This year Gianvito Rossi chose for his first show the South Coast Plaza shopping centre. The designer used his own boutique as the place where he put his own shoes on show, presenting the SS 2018 collection. It was here, in a shop of less than two thousand square meters that you could see shoes which you would love at first sight. The boutique in California is also one of the first shops, where it is possible to also see men's shoes, which are also elegant and beautiful.

Rossi has an unbelievable sense for pure design and aesthetics, which is reflected in his models. It is as if these shoes enticed you to go and enjoy an evening out and dance through the night in the great city like Cinderella, or fly far away into some warm climate for a holiday.
The strikingly red high heels are so fiendishly hot that no one within the range of 100 metres will be able to look away from your legs. It is literally a provocative magnet for the eyes. I would not be surprised at all if some single lady were to find a husband wearing these stilettos. They are extremely sexy but without being vulgar in any way.
Shoes, which I would however prefer to avoid by a long mile are those with a silver brooch. They made a clumsy impression on me and I think even an old maid would not put them on; simply boredom itself. For me, a big no no!
