In the early evening before the opening ceremony the Hublot CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe, arrived to meet with his friends and ambassadors of the brand at a football party. It took place in a luxurious restaurant, Baccarat, accompanied by performance of singer and bass guitarist, Glenn Hughes, a former member of Deep Purple.

Ambassadors of the Hublot brand include the gold Olympic winner, Usain Bold, for whom football is a true heart-felt issue. Before the start at the Old Trafford stadium, where he was a team captain of World XI (playing against England headed by Robbie Williams), he said:

The Foundation Soccer Aid was founded in 2006 with the help of Robbie Williams. Over the last 12 years it collected over 24 million pounds from sold tickets and sponsorship gifts. The money obtained from the last match will go into the United Nations Children´s Fund, UNICEF.
For this special opportunity, Hublot produced the Big Bang Unico Soccer Air Unicef watch.
