We selected singers who are both beautiful and talented, and yet they aren’t in the headlines of magazines. Give their songs a try, you find out that might like them, just like we did.
Emma Smetana
A former anchorman at TV Nova, she decided to move on to a singing career after the birth of her daughter Lennon. Of course, she also did a bit of singing before becoming pregnant, but after the birth of her girl she decided to do it full time. The pop music she creates with her boyfriend Jordan is highly praised also by music critics, and the number of her fans is growing over time. Emma already had a few concerts, published a CD and made a luxurious music video. She is also still an anchorman, but it seems that now it’s mostly about singing for her. Barbora Poláková
This actress first drew attention to her singing with the song “Kráva”, about a boy who left her on Valentine’s Day. The song is also accompanied with a luxurious clip featuring several of her colleagues and friends from her acting career, such as Martha Issová and Sandra Nováková. Poláková is exceptional especially due to the entertaining lyrics of her songs. Barbora is currently on maternity leave due to her two children with Pavel Liška.
Monika Bagárová
This singer is perhaps a little bit better known than the others on this list, but we still decided to include her. Monika attained fame in the SuperStar singing competition; even though she didn’t win the first prize, she managed to get important contacts. Her honesty and hard work allowed her to become a well-recognized singer who has received offers even from distant places like New York. Her specialty is R'n'B, and she’s sometimes called the Czech Beyoncé.
Lenny
The fame of the daughter of Lenky Filipové, who is also a singer, is growing at exceptional speed. Lenny has received musical awards for her pop, the critics love her and the number of her fans is on the rise.
Klára Vytisková
This singer originally performed with the band Toxique. She was hard to miss due to her extravagant image and music, but she never became truly famous. The general public became a bit more aware of the singer thanks to her being a judge at one of the broadly popular SuperStar competition. Now, she performs alone under the name Klara. She is currently on maternity leave with two children. However, that will not stop her from participating in the Sziget festival, which will be held in August in Budapest.
