Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week is one of the most prestigious fashion events in the Czech Republic. And so every year it attracts a number of famous personalities, who try to stand out with their outfits. While some shine, others cause confusion with their fashion choices. Do you remember last year's, which many just shook their heads at?
There's scarcely a month left until the moment when Prague will once again be dominated by fashion, extravagance and new trends. But who should quickly learn from their last year's outfit selection? We took a look at the most outrageous fashion creations of past years.

Radka Třeštíková
Author Radka Třeštíková is known for her daring fashion experiments. At the MBPFW 2024, she chose a combination of a white oversized t-shirt and a black bomber jacket, complemented by black nylon knee-highs and clear high-heeled shoes. She finished the outfit with a cap and a scarf over her head, which appeared somewhat chaotic and mismatched.
However, this year it is said that she forms a new pair with the entrepreneur Jaroslav Vítek, the former husband of Miss CR 2009. So, he would have persuaded her to something more moderate this time? That would probably be for the first time with Radka, because wherever she goes, she immediately becomes the center of attention.

Veronika Kašáková
The model Veronika Kašáková opted for a daring model, which revealed her worked-out belly, but actually included just a swimsuit bra, a jacket on the shoulder, and a black skirt. Although her figure is admirable, and we actually understand why she wants to put hard work on display, some fashion critics last year rightly believed that this outfit was too revealing for this occasion and lacked the expected elegance.
We know Kašák more as an ethereal fairy who often dresses models from the Anamé brand by designer Andrea Eichingerová. However, the model has previously indicated that she values a capsule wardrobe and her stylist often objects that Veronika is simply boring. She probably decided to change it with a swimsuit top on the red carpet.
Sharlota
Singer Sharlota is known for her distinctive style, which she never misses an opportunity to showcase. At MBPFW 2024 she chose a black outfit complemented by striking glasses, a combination of a "work outfit" in the form of pants with prominent pockets, elegance in the form of high black boots, and a beautiful hairstyle.
We've already written about it last year and we still can't decide if it's a total bomb or a complete faux pas. However, Sharlota is precisely the type of woman that these bold models suit as if tailored, and in some way, it has become part of her. It's not just a pose for a fashion event, but a lifestyle. And that's what we actually enjoy about it.
Kateřina Mátlová
We can't forget the memory of 2019 this time. Singer Kateřina Mátlová appeared at the Zoltán Tóth review last year in an Atelier Flannel trench coat, supplemented with golden Etro slippers and glasses. This outfit was by some critics compared to the style of Michael Jackson and it seemed rather unfortunate and cheap at first glance.
Maybe a style change awaits the beautiful singer this year. She is currently competing in the harsh show Survivor and it is clear that there is no space for fashion creations there. Are we about to see her return like a changed person? We are expecting an outfit like an Amazon or a queen of the jungle this year!

Kateřina Kaira Hrachovcová
We would simply call it "the biggest mistake of the night", but such wild models are already a tradition with Kateřina Kaira Hrachovcová. At Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week, style, originality, and elegance are expected, but even creativity has its limits. Unfortunately, the model in the photo went beyond them. The leather or latex look of the dress with a pronounced texture rather resembles a costume from a post-apocalyptic movie than a sophisticated fashion statement. The addition of fishnet stockings, noticeably misfitting ankle boots, and the overall "disheveled" impression of the hair suggest chaos rather than fashion boldness.
The whole model gives the impression that it was put together at the last minute to cause as much uproar as possible. Which actually turned out top-notch.
Pam Rabbit
Singer Pam Rabbit also likes to wear daring designs, but this one seems like a random selection from an everyday wardrobe. Not only does it simply not work together, but it's actually a bit boring. The outfit gives the impression that someone couldn't decide between a banking board and a club night in Berlin. The satin blazer with bold gold buttons and a formal pink shirt might seem stylish and sophisticated on their own. However, the problem arises when combined with the shiny latex pants which drag the outfit into the "fashion disaster" category.
The whole outfit lacks any unifying element. Simply a bit of business chic, a bit... something.
Nikol Moravcova
The silver robe with a glittery effect could have been an elegant choice for an evening at fashion week - if it hadn't been adorned with dozens of fringes that look like ropes from a metal string. The result gives the impression that the presenter Nikol Moravcova is either preparing for a role in a sci-fi musical or for an attack by a style octopus. Although the dress itself has luxurious material and a nice cut, the excess of decorative strings distracts and creates a chaotic impression.
It must be said that even controversial elegance simply belongs to fashion events. We will see what this year brings and what our celebrities will show on the red carpet. We can't wait already!
Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week (MBPFW) in 2025 will be held from April 24 to 30. The main venue of this prestigious fashion event will be the SaSaZu club in Prague.
