The new concept consists of the elegant, special and intelligent Sayer steering wheel. Try to imagine it. With a little more imagination artificial intelligence should be able to coordinate your everyday transportation requirements and should also be able to take care of many other everyday tasks at the sound of your voice. For example, you will tell it where you will be going the next day. In the morning this “clever assistant” will wake you up and order an autonomous electric Jaguar. When it arrives in front of your house you simply attach the Sayer steering wheel.....and of you go. This is the music of the future by the Jaguar Company!
You can take the steering wheel home with you
The steering wheel can be considered a sort of digital vehicle key or membership card. If you own a private car, the steering wheel is activated when you enter the vehicle and it connects to the instrument panel and allows you to take responsibility for driving if you wish. If you are a member of the Jaguar service for shared vehicles on request, the Sayer would be used as your verification and would provide access to using the car.
For example Jaguar also states that the Sayer, with its built-in system, will know what is in the fridge, will have information that can be used to automatically order food and will arrange delivery using the vehicle fleet. Does this seem too horrifying?
"We used the Future-Type to examine how we can maintain this emotional link in the future world, when people can decide that they will not own a vehicle," says Ian Callum, director of design at Jaguar and he adds:
"Jaguar will practically be an autonomous vehicle on request."
The deluxe interior design is linked to the autonomous driving system, when passengers can sit opposite each other and will have the option of talking without interruption while the vehicle automatically travels to the selected destination.
