On the site of the former Rest&Fun leisure area, the AeroRooms Hotel has recently opened, offering fourteen newly renovated rooms, accessible from both the public and non-public areas of the airport. Unlike Rest&Fun, which offered eight rooms exclusively for passengers with connecting flights, the AeroRooms is designed for anyone looking for comfortable and short-term accommodation near the airport. You can stop here prior to your vacation or after your return, if you won‘t feel like going back to work immediately after a week full of sunbathing and margaritas.
“By opening the new AeroRooms hotel, we are responding to the ever-growing number of checked-in passengers and the changing structure of potential customers. The hotel is primarily intended to increase the capacity of the airport's accommodation services, improve them and make them accessible to a much wider range of passengers,”
The hotel can be accessed from the non-public part of the airport through the entrance between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. For transit passengers, the entrance from Terminal 1 has been maintained. The accommodation prices start at CZK 1,999 per night.
For security reasons, passengers must always book a hotel room in advance either on the Prague Airport website or via Booking.com.
Another significant change is that the capacity of airport lounges will be increased by almost 100%! Thanks to this, passengers will enjoy greater comfort. The renovation of the luxury ERSTE Premier Lounge at Terminal 2 will begin in October and will be followed by the renovation of the Mastercard Lounge at Terminal 1 before the start of the next summer season.
These renovations won‘t cheap either. Improving passenger services will cost several tens of millions of crowns! Look at the visualizations of the ERSTE Premier lounge below. This luxury will definitely be worth it!
