One of Alaska's most impressive national parks is Denali. It's located north of the largest city, Anchorage, and the highest mountain of Alaska - Denali (6 190 m asl) can also be found there. Visitors come here to enjoy the beautiful nature and, above all, for the opportunity to see a grizzly bear! Other inhabitants of the park include caribou deer, elk and wolves. Admission to the park is $ 10 and you'll only be allowed in on board of a special bus.

It is thanks to the high mountains off the coast. Mostly, the snow that falls here is wet and clings to everything, even the steepest mountain surface. The northern lights can be best spotted in the area around Fairbanks. Between 1 October and 12 April, this magical phenomenon can be observed every evening from 9:00 pm to 3:00 am. In addition, you'll also find here the Mt. Aurora SkiLand resort which boasts highest chairlift, and you can head to the nearby phenomenal Chena Hot Springs for much needed relax.
